Jeff Barkley


Brian Cave


Brian Cave started coaching soccer in 1998 for the South Hall Soccer Club, one of the original clubs that formed Lanier Soccer Association in Gainesville. In the past 12 years he has gained a wealth of coaching knowledge and experience by coaching several teams for Lanier Soccer Association and Atlanta Soccer Academy. In 2007 Brian obtained his National Youth License. As players are always working on improving their skills, Brian is always continuing his coaching education through classes, reading, and observing the game. Outside of coaching soccer he has remained a certified referee since 1999, is currently on the board for LSA, assists with registrations, and has previously served as an Age Group and Referee Coordinator. Brian is currently employed as a Senior Electrical Engineer for a company in Cumming, Ga. He is married to Christine, they have a son who continues to play club and school soccer and an older daughter who resides in the area with her husband.

Jim Coleman
Jim is a native of Gainesville, and has spent most of his life playing and coaching soccer locally. He played club soccer through age 17. He has been with the Sol Diablos, and he has participated both as a player and a coach in many tournament finals. Currently Jim holds a D coaching license and works with many different youth with LSA. He has coached at the LSA summer camp and for more than ten years he has been involved in coaching youth of all ages across the recreational, academy and select programs. Today Jim is the trainer for LSA's U-11 Boys academy team, and he is the coach for the U-19 Athena Gold Girls team. William Jennings


Jamie Lance

   

Jamie Lance is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. He is currently coaching two U-10 boys teams at LSA. He is also a trainer for the U-19 boys at LSA.  Jamie holds a "D" license right now, but he is looking forward to getting a "C" license soon.  He has been coaching for the last 10 years, and he has recently started a company called FIRE UP YOUR GAME.  The main focus of this company is to provide player development programs for youth wanting to accel at the game of soccer.  Jamie is also a former player at third division soccer in a league set up by the Atlanta Silverbacks for a team called Chelsea Guatamala. Jamie's dream is to be able to make a living doing what he loves to do- coach soccer.

Patrice Parris

Parris graduated from Georgia Southern in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in sport management, and received his Masters in Sports Management from Georgia Southern in 2007. Parris holds his USSF D license and holds a NSCAA National Diploma and an Advanced NSCAA National Diploma. He also serves as the Director of the Statesboro Park and Recreation U-15 soccer travel squad. In the summer of 1999, Parris was called up to train with the Jamaican (Reggae Boys) National Team.

Current Head Coach of NGCSU for the last 4 years.

Parris comes to North Georgia from Georgia Southern, where he was a four-year letter winner for the Eagles from 1994-97, joining the Statesboro (Ga.) High coaching staff after concluding his career at Georgia Southern. Parris spent three years at Statesboro, helping the Blue Devils win back-to-back region championships. After that, he joined the Georgia Southern coaching staff where he served in that capacity until accepting the position at North Georgia.
