What: Pre-Academy Training Sessions for U09-U10 Recreation Players
Who:  All Players interested in playing LSA Academy Soccer
When: Every Friday beginning March 26, 5:15pm – 6:30 pm
Where: Allen Creek Soccer Complex, Field #3

The purpose of the LSA Pre-Academy Training Program is to identify and select a pool of the top 20-30 U09 and U10 recreational players registered with Lanier Soccer Association.

Training sessions are open to all players interested in playing academy level soccer.  All players will train with the Director of Coaching and members of the Lanier Soccer Association training staff once per week, each Friday during the season beginning March 26.  Players will continue to be identified and evaluated on a weekly basis throughout the recreational spring season by the Director of Coaching and his training staff.

The objective is to bring the top U09 and U10 players together on a regular basis and provide them with a challenging training environment.  The primary advantage of having the top U09 and U10 players train together on a regular basis is that better players tend to develop even more quickly when they 1) are put in a challenging environment and 2) play against other players of the same caliber or higher.

This group of players will form the nucleus for the U09 and U10 male and female academy teams that will be formed in late May/early June via tryouts for the 2010 fall season.

There will be an open, informal Q&A session following each LSA Pre-Academy training session about the Academy Program.

If your child plans to attend these free training sessions please confirm via email to lsadoc@charter.net.  If you have any questions regarding the training sessions or the Academy Program, please contact LSA Director of coaching Franklin McIntosh, lsadoc@charter.net or (678) 617-5391.
