Referees Certification Courses at East Hall Community Center

Referee Courses offered for those who are and those who shall be.
Was your New Year's resolution to get in shape, or be part of your community, or make more money, or have more fun, or to help the growth of soccer? Then being a soccer referee is for you. Lanier Soccer Association is hosting an Entry Level Referee Course to be conducted by the Georgia Soccer Referee Instructional Staff at the East Hall Community Center on the 10th and 11th of February. Course times on Friday are from 6:30PM till 9:30PM, and the time for Saturday are from 8:00AM till 3:00PM. Register at http://www.gareferees.com/index.cfm?p=classRegister&classID=3942 .
The 2012 re-certification badges can be earned by returning referees at the course offered on February 12th from 1:00 till 6:00 at the East Hall Community Center. Use your login to register at www.gareferees.com. Contact Brian Cave at

FREE Coaching Courses Offered

G and F Coaching Courses offered at the Allen Creek Soccer Complex
Lanier Soccer Association is hosting the coaching courses required for coaches who are coaching U-6 to U-12 recreational teams. The G course (U-6 to U-8) will be held February 11 from 9:00AM till 1:00PM. The F course (U-10 to U-12) will be held February 18th from 9:00AM till 5:00PM. Lanier Soccer Association take pride in our coaches and expects them to be certified by the Georgia Soccer State Association. Good coaching practices leads to proper player development for our children's growth in the game. Elks Club Soccer Shoot-Out Winners

 Several LSA Academy teams wore pink jerseys this weekend to show support for our LSA family member, April Armstrong. April is currently battling breast cancer. The LSA U-11 Girls Team Academy Coach, Jim Armstrong, is the husband of April Armstrong.
